Lateral tee is designed for provide 45 degree or other degrees branches for the main pipe. Its connection type could be butt weld, socket weld and threaded. Butt weld lateral tee is manufactured based on ASME B16.9, while the other two are both confirm to ASME B16.11. It is a specifal type of pipe tee.
